PRODUCTS

It's very important to use all natural and organic bath/beauty products, foods and supplements. These are a few of my favorites that help make living with PCOS easier, yummier and more beautiful!
I'm not at all sponsored by any of these products. I use these myself everyday and researched and tried a lot of different ones before I settled on these. A helpful app for finding the most natural products, and seeing what your products score on their rating system for natural ingredients, is Think Dirty. I use it a lot and it's saved me a lot of time and it's free.

BATH & BODY

Rahua Shampoo/Conditioner
This is probably my favorite, all organic ingredients, leaves my hair feeling soft and shines.

Rahua Shampoo & Conditioner, Amazon, $58 for the set

Acure Shampoo/Conditioner
A bit less expensive, Acure's line of shampoo and conditioner are great and most of their ingredients are organic. I love the way it cleans and conditions my hair, leaving it soft and smelling delicious. Just make sure to get the ones that don't contain fragrance (non-natural fragrance is toxic and can be harmful).

Acure Shampoo/Conditioner, Amazon, $19 for the set (you can also find them at Whole Foods)

Nourish Organic Body Lotion
It's hard to find a good body lotion, I love these from Nourish Organic. They have lots of different flavors, all made with natural and organic ingredients. Your skin will thank you.
Nourish Organic Body Lotion, Amazon, $11

Living Nature Body Wash
We absorb everything through our skin, almost as much as when we eat or drink. So it's important to use an all-natural soap or body wash. I love this one from Living Nature. It leaves my skin smooth and silky and has a nice, light smell.

Living Nature Nourishing Body Wash, Amazon, $23

Meadowlark Botanicals Dry Shampoo
If you're like me and losing hair because of PCOS, you don't wash your hair often. When my hair is getting greasy, I like to use this dry shampoo to stretch out my washes even longer. I found this company on Etsy and they use all organic, natural ingredients and it smells and works great. It's also very reasonably priced.

Meadowlark Botanicals Tea Tree + Rosemary Dry Shampoo, Etsy, $16

Living Nature Exfoliating Scrub
I love this exfoliating face wash to use a few times a week to keep my breakouts at bay. They use all natural ingredients and my face always feels so clean and smooth when I use it.
Living Nature Skin Revive Exfoliant, Amazon, $29

Living Nature Sensitive Cleanser
I use this as my everyday cleanser. It feels so nice on my skin and leaves it feeling soft and silky.
Living Nature Sensitive Cleanser, Amazon, $26

Meadowlark Botanicals Facial Serum
PCOS can wreak havoc on our skin, so a good, natural facial serum is key. I love this one, also from Meadowlark, it works beautifully and is packed with organic ingredients my skin loves.

Meadowlark Botanicals Facial Serum, Etsy, $22

David's Natural Toothpaste
Using an all-natural toothpaste is really important. I love this one from David's. It's completely natural and even comes in a metal tube.

David's Natural Toothpaste, Goop.com, $7.95

Schmidt's Deodorant
This was a tough one, I went through a lot of different natural deodorants before I found this one that actually works. Also a lot that say they're natural really aren't. And of course a lot just don't work well. I love these from Schmidt's. I use the pineapple coconut one, but they have a lot of different scents.

Schmidt's Natural Deodorant, Amazon, $9

Devita Solar Protective Moisturizer
It's really important to keep your skin safe from the sun but also safe from harmful chemicals found in most sunscreens. I use this body moisturizer with micronized zinc, it rubs in great and doesn't leave you white like most zinc-based sunscreens.

Devita Solar Protective Moisturizer SPF 30, DevitaSkinCare.com, $26

This eyeliner works great and is made with all natural ingredients. And it comes in gorgeous colors.

Alima Pure Foundation
Foundation is a tricky one because you want to use something natural, but you want something that works. I really like this loose powder foundation. It covers nicely without being too thick and it lasts for hours.

Lily Lolo Blush
I love wear a bit of blush to add a pop of color. This brand has gorgeous shades, they're natural and last long.

Lily Lolo Pressed Mineral Blush, The Detox Market, $20

"Un" Cover Up
The coverup does it all. You can conceal blemishes, under the eyes, or you can even use it as an all-over foundation. And it's so completely natural, that's why it's called the "un" cover up.
RMS Beauty "Un" Cover Up, The Detox Market, $36

Lily Lolo Eye Palette
I love this eye shadow palette from Lily Lolo. It has every color you could ever want for that perfect eye and it's natural, what more could a girl ask for?
Lily Lolo Bare Eye Palette, The Detox Market, $34

Tinted Nutrient Day Cream with SPF 30
I love this stuff because it is light, covers well and protects my skin naturally, with zinc as it's sun screen. And it smells incredible.

Josh Rosebrook Tinted Nutrient Day Cream SPF 30, The Detox Market, $95

FOODS/SUPPLEMENTS

Spearmint Tea
I drink this stuff twice a day, to keep my testosterone in check, and I really like this one from Traditional Medicals, it tastes great. I usually get it at Whole Foods but you can also order it online.

Traditional Medicinals Organic Spearmint Tea, Amazon, $7

Dandy Blend
I think this is the best coffee substitute out there. It's all natural and is gluten and caffeine free. It tastes just like the real thing! I like to drink it with a splash of unsweetened coconut creamer.
Dandy Blend Instant Herbal Beverage, Amazon $12

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
Collagen does wonders, from helping you grow beautiful hair, nails and makes your skin glow, to helping your stomach lining heal. I use this one from Vital Proteins. They also have a match green tea one that I want to try too.

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides, VitalProteins.com, $43

Sun Potion Ashwagandha
This Chinese herb does all kinds of good, like help with stress and hormone balance. It tastes pretty disgusting , but you can add it to tea, or just drink it quick with some water and get it over with. The benefits are so worth it though!

Sun Potion Organic Ashwagandha, SunPotion.com, $37

Siete Tortillas
It's hard to find a good grain-free tortilla, but this is it! I love the almond flour ones, but their coconut and cassava flour ones are good too. I love making tacos, wraps, and breakfast burritos with these, so yummmm!

Siete Amazing Grain Free Tortillas, SieteFoods.com, $55 6 packs of 8

The Real Coconut Tortilla Chips
Corn is really not good for you, so I try to avoid it. These are the best tortilla chips I've found. And I love that they have no preservatives, are organic, cooked in coconut oil, and they don't break when I scoop my guac! I love the Himalayan pink salt flavor, but they have a few others as well.
The Real Coconut Coconut Flour Tortilla Chips, TheRealCoconut.com, $27 for 6 bags

Chickpea Pasta
I love chickpea pasta. It's grain-free and packed with protein. And it doesn't leave me bloated like lentil noodles can. This one from Banza is delish and you can find it at Whole Foods or online.
Banza Chickpea Penne, Amazon, $18 for 6 boxes

HOUSEHOLD

Pure Laundry Soap
It's really important to use chemical products, especially laundry soap. It stays on our clothes and we absorb it through our skin. I love this one, made of organic soap berries, Pure. It works just as good as the chemical stuff and leaves my clothes smelling clean and feeling soft.

Puracy Handsoap
Most soaps have harmful ingredients, like sodium laureth sulfate. I tried a few, but I like this one from Puracy because it's all natural, feels nice on my hands and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

All-Purpose Cleaner
I tried a few all-purpose cleaners before I found this one from Greenshield Organic. I like that it has a subtle lemon scent and is all natural and organic. And it works great. They have lots of other cleaning products as well.

Greenshield Organic All-purpose Cleaner, GreenshieldOrganics.com, $5

CLOTHING

Pact Organic
We absorb the chemicals used in our clothing so it's important to use natural materials like cotton. A lot of clothing companies also use toxic dyes, which we also absorb through our skin. It's quite expensive to go out and get a whole new wardrobe, so what I recommend is to start with your basics. So if you can have organic cotton (with natural dyes) underwear, socks, pjs and loungewear then that's a great start. I love Pact because they are very affordable and so comfortable.
